Anna Ross gripped her phone tightly.

She forced down the anxiety in her heart.

"Noah, keep trying to reach him. I have an emergency right now."

"Okay, I'll notify you immediately if I get any news," Noah Watson replied.

The call ended.

Anna urged the driver to go faster.

Raindrops hammered against the car window.

The outside world blurred.

She had no time to care.

The situation at the bar was unclear.

She had to get there as soon as possible.

The car stopped.

Anna rushed into the bar.

She immediately spotted Julian Garnache entangled in the crowd.

Several men were ganging up on him.

Mia Lawrence stood to the side.

She pushed through the crowd and grabbed her best friend.
