Anna Ross reached out and turned it off.

Anna looked up at her. "I'm only temporarily assisting with this project. Client meetings are not within my responsibilities."
She remembered there was a dedicated team for this project.
A flicker of displeasure passed through Chloe's eyes, but she quickly suppressed it.
She curled her lips into a smile. "Have you forgotten? The core documents are still with you."
"You were responsible for the initial contact and preparation. You can't back out now."
She leaned in closer, lowering her voice. "If your absence causes problems with the cooperation, can you take that responsibility?"
Anna's heart tightened.
She had indeed forgotten about that.
Helpless, she could only nod. "I understand."
"Good. Wait for my notice." Chloe straightened up, satisfied, and walked away gracefully in her high heels.
Anna clenched her fists, feeling inexplicably uneasy.
She had never participated in client meetings before and was afraid of making mistakes.

She took out her phone and dialed a number.
"Is everything arranged?"
