Chapter 447
The salesgirl couldn't help but gasp. "Oh my! He's not just handsome, but also incredibly generous. What a perfect boyfriend!"
Sophia Roscente hopped excitedly and handed him the lipstick. "Here, I picked this for my sister. You can pay for it."
Seeing Adrian Sinclair didn't react, she shoved the lipstick into his hand and dashed back to Marcus Hill.
Anna Ross froze, meeting Adrian's intense gaze. Her fingers tightened slightly. "We don't need to buy this. I'll just put it back."
She took a few steps forward to retrieve the lipstick. Sophia could be willful, but she couldn't.
Adrian raised his hand, holding the lipstick high. Anna stopped in her tracks, quietly watching him.
"Wrap it up." Adrian glanced at the salesgirl who had been watching the scene.
The salesgirl quickly took the lipstick with respect, promising to package it carefully.
Adrian lowered his hand, his eyes fixed on her. "Who said I didn't want to buy it? If one isn't enough, I can buy the entire store for you."
Anna frowned. Every eye in the store was on them, filled with envy.
Mia Lawrence noticed the commotion and rushed over, grabbing her friend's hand. "Adrian, only buying for Anna? That's soๅๅฟ!"
"Mia." Anna looked at her in surprise.
Mia secretly squeezed her hand, signaling her to stay quiet.
Adrian glanced at Julian Garnache not far away, a slight smile touching his lips. "Pick whatever you want." He pulled a Black Card from his leather card holder and handed it to Anna. "Use it as you like."
Anna felt dizzy, unable to help but steal a few more glances at him. Was something off about him today?
Sophia was so excited she nearly jumped, internally praising her cousin for doing so well. This was how to outshine other men!
Marcus saw through her little scheme and watched the drama unfold.
Mia stared at the Black Card, her eyes wide. It represented more money than most people earn in a lifetime, and he just handed it over so casually?
Since he agreed, it would be a waste not to spend it. Mia reached out to take it.
Anna immediately pulled her back, speaking calmly to the man. "Thank you, but it's not necessary."
"Huh?" Mia didn't finish before Anna dragged her away.
She looked back at the Black Card, inwardly mourning the missed opportunity!
Sophia sighed. This wasn't how she imagined the scene would go.
The two walked over to Julian Garnache. Mia was still heartbroken over the Black Card.
Adrian watched them, his expression darkening. Was she refusing his money because another man was present?
He took back the card. The salesgirl returned with the packaged lipstick, looking confused when she saw the girl was gone.
"Sir, this lipstick..."
"Give it to me." Adrian took the lipstick, holding it tightly. He turned to pay.
Seeing her cousin wasn't completely clueless, Sophia felt relieved and continued shopping.
The group spent a little more time at the mall. Anna only bought one itemโa gift for her mother. She realized she hadn't gotten her mom anything, so she chose a piece of clothing.
