Anna Ross frowned deeply.

She picked up the document and glanced at it.

Her tone was cold. "I don't want to go. Can I refuse?"

She only wanted to focus on her own work.

She had no interest in participating in anything else.

Adrian Sinclair seemed to have expected this.

His expression remained unchanged.

He spoke slowly and deliberately. "No."

"Although you are my Executive Assistant,"

"these matters are crucial for the company's development."

"You have no valid reason to refuse."

He paused briefly.

Then he added, "You just joined the company."

"This is the time to prove yourself."

"Do well. Don't embarrass me."

After speaking, he lowered his head.

He continued handling the work on his desk.

Anna shot him an annoyed glare.

She turned to leave the office.

His voice suddenly came from behind her. "By the way,"

"do you know how to get to the Creative Department?"

Anna was speechless.

If she didn't even know that,

her time working here would have been wasted.

Was he treating her like a fool?

She ignored his question.

She went straight to her desk to get her things.

She headed directly to the Creative Department.

She wandered around the Creative Department for a while.

She couldn't see Chloe Valentine anywhere.
