Anna Ross rushed into the bathroom to wash up quickly.

Someone was waiting for her downstairs.

She hurriedly got ready and prepared to leave.

Passing through the living room, she noticed the sofa was messy.

Anna remembered she forgot to tidy up yesterday.

Adrian Sinclair told her to get in the car once she was downstairs.

Adrian stood in front of her.

He spoke casually. "I haven't had breakfast."

"You need to join me."

Anna froze.

She couldn't help but ask. "Didn't you say it was urgent?"

"Now you want to have breakfast?"

Adrian glanced at her indifferently.

"Even urgent matters require breakfast."

"It's common sense."

He slipped one hand into his pocket and looked ahead.

"I'm your boss."

"I decide how busy we are."

Anna fell silent.

She really shouldn't have asked that question.

He always had his reasons.

Besides, she was a little hungry herself.

Having breakfast together wouldn't hurt.

"Made up your mind?"

"Coming along?"

Anna started walking ahead.

She reminded him. "You're the one who asked me to go."

Adrian chuckled and followed.

At the breakfast shop.

He ordered what she loved most in college.

"I'll ask the server to change it."

He started to raise his hand.

"Don't change it."

She lowered her head and took a bite.

Chloe Valentine happened to pass by.

She saw the two having breakfast together.

"Perfect, I haven't had breakfast."
