Mark said nothing more, quietly finishing his meal.

"It's for both of you." Mark winked. "Open it later, in private."
Anna accepted the box, her fingertips tingling with warmth.
They hurried back to the hotel to collect their luggage and headed straight for the airport.
She didn't understand his rush to return home, but their business trip was officially over.
The airport was a chaotic sea of people, a roaring tide of noise.
Anna stayed close behind Adrian, afraid of being swept away by the crowd.
Then, her peripheral vision caught a familiar silhouette.
