Xiao Ying pressed the elevator button and glanced at her. "Where do you go after work, Anna? You must be going on dates with your boyfriend, right?"

Without waiting for an answer, she added, "You're so pretty. Your boyfriend must be really handsome. When will you bring him around to meet us?"

Her gossiping demeanor reminded Anna so much of Mia Lawrence.

Anna pursed her lips awkwardly. "I don't have a boyfriend."

"No way!?" Xiao Ying's eyes widened in shock.

The elevator doors opened.

Afraid Xiao Ying would press further, Anna quickly made an excuse. "Xiao Ying, you go ahead. I forgot something!"

Without waiting for a response, she turned and hurried away.

She decided to go up later.

Anna sat down in the lounge area and took out her resignation letter.
