"Just finished your meeting?"

"You must be tired."

He reached out to pat Adrian's shoulder.

"Don't you have anything better to do?"

"Still hanging around here?"

"The branch company matter isn't over yet."

"Are you close with Manager Patrick?"

"Should I continue investigating?"

Howard's face instantly changed.

He forced an ugly smile.

"I was just reminding you."

"Of course, you don't need my advice."

Adrian stopped looking at him.

He turned his gaze to Anna.

"Were you looking for me?"

Anna was slightly startled.

She remembered Lucas's message.

She quickly handed over the clothes.

"Your coat."

"I forgot to return it to you last night."

He looked down at the neatly folded clothes.

His eyes flickered.

He was about to reach for it.

Chloe took it first.

"How polite of you, Executive Assistant Ross."

"Let me handle such small matters."

She held the clothes and smiled.

"There was no need to come all this way yourself."
