Mia Lawrence froze in place.

This was completely unexpected.

She often saw Adrian Sinclair around Anna Ross.

But she never expected him to be so helpful.

She hesitated before speaking. "Anna, does Adrian still like you?"

Anna quickly shook her head.

Her voice rose a few pitches. "No, nothing like that. Don't make wild guesses!"

Mia raised an eyebrow.
