Chapter 333
Chloe Valentine's heart felt pierced by needles.
She was his future wife.
She was the one he should love.
She cast a cold glance downstairs.
Jealousy coiled around her heart like a venomous snake.
A brilliant plan formed in her mind.
"Adrian, I really need to talk to you."
"But I'm afraid you'll be upset if I tell you."
She furrowed her brows slightly, her fingers gently tracing the back of his hand.
Adrian Sinclair suppressed his impatience.
He subtly created distance between them.
His voice was cold. "If there's nothing important, I'm going back downstairs."
Chloe quickly grabbed his arm.
She couldn't miss this opportunity.
She could ruin Anna Ross and keep him by her side.
Adrian turned around.
His icy gaze fell on her hand.
He was in a terrible mood, and everything annoyed him.
Chloe was frightened by his expression.
She immediately released his arm.
"What exactly do you want to say?" Adrian frowned deeply.
His displeasure was written all over his face.
"Grandpa is still upstairs. You should spend more time with him."
Chloe's expression instantly stiffened.
She had no desire to entertain that old man.
If not for the marriage, she wouldn't go near him.
Once married, her first act would be to send him away.
Preferably, make him disappear sooner.
But she couldn't show her true feelings now.
Chloe deliberately glanced downstairs several times.
She pretended to be checking something.
Adrian followed her gaze.
Two familiar figures were leaving one after another.
Lucas Evans's hand almost reached for hers.
A smirk tugged at Chloe's lips.
She quickly concealed it.
"Adrian, please don't be angry when I tell you."
Adrian's breathing grew heavy.
He faced her, his voice low. "Speak."
Chloe felt secretly pleased.
She was already halfway to success.
"I've seen Miss Ross being very intimate with Lucas before."
"She even told her friends that Lucas was worth entrusting her life to."
Chloe paused here.
She lifted her innocent eyes to look at him.
Adrian's expression grew increasingly dark.
His eyes turned icy. He gritted his teeth and asked, "And what else?"
Chloe lowered her head.
She couldn't help but smile triumphantly.
She took out her phone, opened the photo album, and handed it to him.
"While shopping today, I saw her with another man."
"They looked very much in love."
The next second, Adrian snatched the phone from her.
He stared at the photo in disbelief.
A tall man was affectionately ruffling the girl's hair.
Both were laughing happily.
Adrian's eyes instantly reddened.
His fingers tightened, veins bulging.
Under the light, his expression turned ferocious.
Good. Just perfect.
She never wanted to explain why they broke up.
It was because she had already found someone else.
Adrian suddenly let out a scornful laugh.
He felt like a complete joke.
Always orbiting around her.
In her heart, he was probably just an annoying presence.
