Chapter 203

Adrian Sinclair chuckled softly, deciding to stop teasing her.

Anna Ross breathed a sigh of relief and gave him a gentle push. "Turn around. I need to get dressed."

He smirked, his tone suggestive. "Why so shy? There's not an inch of you I haven't seen."

Anna fell silent.

Arguing was a waste of time.

She gathered her scattered clothes and slipped under the covers to dress quickly.

Adrian leaned against the headboard, watching her flustered movements with amusement.

Anna shot him a glare, but her eyes caught on his bare chest.

The defined lines of his abs came into view.

Her ears grew warm, and she quickly looked away.

"My Executive Assistant seems particularly fond of looking at me today," he murmured, his voice low and teasing.

Anna gathered her hair, jumped off the bed, grabbed her bag, and rushed out of the room.

Morning traffic flowed steadily on the streets.

She hailed a taxi, hurrying home to change for work.

Her key turned in the lock, and she stepped quietly into the living room.

Sophia Roscente's door suddenly opened.

Their eyes met.

Sophia blinked, a sly smile spreading across her face. "You never came home last night~"

Anna's scalp prickled.

Why did this girl always catch her?

She forced composure. "I worked late and stayed somewhere near the office."

Her eyes, however, drifted away involuntarily.

Sophia moved closer, studying her. "You weren't with my cousin, were you?"

She tilted her head, wearing an expression that saw right through everything.

Anna's cheeks burned. "Stop guessing."

She quickened her pace toward the bathroom, but Sophia blocked her way.

"You're guilty!" Sophia laughed like a little fox. "I was just suspicious before, but now I'm a hundred percent sure!"

Anna retreated into the bathroom helplessly.

As she was squeezing toothpaste, Sophia's smiling face suddenly appeared in the mirror.

"Are you two together now?" she asked, eyes shining with anticipation.

Anna's hand stilled, the toothbrush hovering in mid-air.
