"Anna often mentions you."
"She says you're a wonderful girl."

Mia's head snapped up.
The man was elegantly sipping his coffee.

"What's wrong?"

"I was too busy to reply then."
"She must be worried sick!"
A message from her best friend about borrowing money popped up in the chat.

"Anna! Are you okay?"
"I was too busy to check my phone this morning!"

"I was short on money this morning."

Mia let out a long sigh of relief.
She casually transferred the money over.
"Really, it's not necessary."
Anna's tone was gentle but firm.
"I'm busy right now."
"Let's talk after work."
The refund notification sound chimed.
Mia shook her head helplessly.
She knew her friend's stubborn nature.
After a few words of advice, she hung up.
"How is Anna?"
Julian immediately pressed.
"She's fine."
Mia smiled brightly.
"Don't worry, Julian."
Julian's tense shoulders finally relaxed.
He had almost thought Chloe Valentine was causing trouble again.
"Mia! Hurry up!"
A colleague rushed into the Starbucks.
"The manager has asked for you three times!"
Mia reluctantly looked across the table.
"Julian, I have to go back."
Julian stood up and nodded.
"Let's talk again next time."
Mia's eyes suddenly lit up.
She took half a step closer and asked,
"A new movie is coming out next week."
"Would you like to see it together, Julian?"
Her colleague's eyes widened.
This girl was never this forward with men.
Julian was slightly taken aback.
Then he smiled.
"I'm always free."
Mia was so happy she nearly jumped.
"It's a date!"
"I'll message you the details!"
Her colleague dragged her away forcefully.
