Chapter 445

Sophia Roscente bounded over, lively as a little rabbit.

Anna Ross cast a questioning look, as if asking how he got here.

She blinked, shaking her head gently to show she didn't know either.

Marcus Hill saw his good friend appear and immediately teared up, rushing over.

He practically tried to hang his entire body on him.

"Adrian, you came at the perfect time. Help me carry some of this."

He passed over the heavy shopping bags, gazing at him pleadingly, hoping for rescue.

Adrian Sinclair merely glanced at them briefly before looking away.

Marcus immediately realized he was doing it on purpose.

He had no intention of helping.

"Fine. So our usual brotherhood is fake, huh? You won't even help with this?"

He was so angry he felt dizzy.

He really wanted to throw this leisurely spectator to the ground, pick him up, and repeat it a hundred times to vent his anger.

"Marcus Hill, what do you mean? Are you saying I tired you out?" Sophia stamped her foot and charged forward to grab his ear.

Marcus quickly begged for mercy, hiding behind Adrian like a frightened puppy with innocent eyes.

Sophia rolled up her sleeves, glaring furiously at the person over there.

But because her cousin was present, she didn't dare go over.

She could only run to Anna's side and complain, "Sister, he's bullying me. You have to help me!"

Before she could even speak, Marcus couldn't help but retort, "Hey, hey, hey. Get your story straight. Who's bullying who right now? There are so many people watching."

"Whatever. Adrian, you have to give me justice!" He said, shrinking further behind Adrian.

Adrian swept a glance at the person behind him.

Receiving the plea for help, he cleared his throat softly, unsure what to say.

Meanwhile, Sophia also shook Anna's arm, pouting and acting spoiled.

"Sister, he's so smug. Can you bear to see me being bullied?"

"......"

Anna only felt sweat beading on her forehead.

She covered her face, speechless.

Across from them, Mia Lawrence and Julian Garnache watched this scene and immediately found a place to sit.

They sipped their coffee with an expression of watching a show.

This scene was simply too entertaining.

Mia bit her straw, sighing inwardly that Adrian looked best when he stood by her best friend's side.

Though Lucas wasn't bad either, she recently felt he was somewhat gloomy.

Adrian gazed at the person before him, his emotions in turmoil.

He had to admit, ever since the last engagement incident, it was becoming increasingly difficult to control his emotions.

Especially when facing her.

Sophia's eyes darted around.

She pulled Anna forward.

"Hmph, Marcus. This young lady is going shopping today. I don't want to waste time with you."

Anna was suddenly pulled along.

She looked back at Mia.

The other party smiled, indicating it was fine.

Then everyone else followed.

Julian glanced over this way before leaving, not saying much.

Marcus finally stepped out from behind him and sighed.

"Ah, Anna and Julian get along quite well. They even came out shopping together."

His response was met with silence.

The other party seemed unmoved, just staring expressionlessly at the group walking ahead.
