Chapter 338
Sophia Roland's eyes glistened with unshed tears as her fingers traced her daughter's face on the display.
"Mom, it's just the camera angle making me look thinner." Evelyn Roland pulled Bianca Savigny closer, pressing their cheeks together. "See? Bianca's the one who's actually slim."
Bianca pouted, wronged but silent.
Sophia finally laughed, delicate crow's feet appearing at the corners of her eyes.
"How wonderful..."
The words slipped from Bianca's lips before she could stop herself.
Evelyn gave her a knowing look before turning back to her mother. "I'll bring Bianca home tomorrow."
"Really?" Sophia clasped her hands over her mouth in delight.
"Mm. Have Alexander pick us up."
"Perfect! I'll start preparing right away! Get some rest, my darling. Love you!"
After the call ended, Evelyn shook her head with an affectionate smile. Her mother's whirlwind energy hadn't changed in decades.
Bianca hovered nervously. "Master, maybe I shouldn'tโ"
"Suit yourself." Evelyn picked up a piece of fish with her chopsticks.
"I'll go!" Bianca instantly backtracked, eyes sparkling. "What do your family members like? Any taboos I should know?"
"Silence."
Bianca's face flushed crimson as she stomped out. "You're horrible!"
The door slammed shut. Evelyn's lips curved upward.

Blenheim Palace glowed with light.
Sophia threw herself into her husband's arms like an excited schoolgirl. "Our daughter's coming home tomorrow!"
Edward Roland stroked her hair. "I heard. What needs preparing?"
"The freshest fruits, complete sterilization of the guest rooms, and those flowersโ"
"Leave it to me." He kissed her forehead. "Rest now."

Dawn found the estate buzzing with activity.
Edward, unusually dressed in casual homewear, accompanied his wife on final inspections.
"Father, Mother, isn't this excessive?" Isabella Langley stood at the staircase, surveying the immaculate parlor.
Sophia directed maids polishing vases. "Isabella, you're up early. Did we disturb you?"
