Chapter 102

The host turned to Isabella Langley with an apologetic tone. "Miss Langley, we sincerely apologize for the earlier misunderstanding. It was our oversight to suspect you without concrete evidence."

Isabella's tense shoulders relaxed slightly.

She pressed her lips together. "It's fine. As long as the truth comes out."

Though her plans had been disrupted, at least her name was cleared. She glanced discreetly toward the stage, knowing her cousin had intervened behind the scenes.

"Let's congratulate this year's championโ€”Master Celadon!" the host announced loudly, handing the heavy gold medal to Evelyn Roland.

The venue erupted in cheers.

Camera flashes lit up Evelyn's composed face. She recited her acceptance speech mechanically, her eyes as cold as ice.

Alexander Roland stood in the audience, a flicker of admiration in his gaze.

Thunderous applause broke out. Everyone celebrated the young prodigy.

The closing bell rang, marking the official end of the competition.

Evelyn descended the steps slowly, her dress swaying. She narrowed her eyes, pondering the identity of the mastermind.

Isabella? No, she lacked the capability.

At the dressing room entrance, a tall figure blocked her path.

"Care to talk?" Sebastian Valdemar's deep voice resonated.

His gaze swept over the janitor uniform in the corner, his brow furrowing.

So it had been her that day.

Evelyn curved her lips. "Mr. Valdemar, do we have anything to discuss?"

"This time," he stepped closer, "I want to speak with the real Celadon."

The air turned frigid.

"I'm busy." She turned to leave.

"You're the head of CH Holdings."

The words struck like a blade, freezing Evelyn mid-step.

She turned back slowly, a flicker of panic in her eyes.

"How did you know?"

Sebastian advanced. "I figured it out the moment you revealed your identity."

"CH wants to enter the domestic market, which is why you're eager to partner with Valdemar Group."

He narrowed his eyes. "If this is a collaboration, you should show some sincerity."
