Chapter 265

"Miss Roland, why the prudish act with me?" Oliver Valrose sneered, his gaze roaming over her body with vulgar intent. "We're alone here. No need for pretenses."

He took a step closer, his voice dripping with sleaze.

Evelyn Roland clenched her fists, the air suddenly feeling thick with repulsion.

"Back off." Her eyes turned glacial. "Take one more step and I won't hold back."

"Oh, playing hard to get?" He licked his lips. "You're the one who invited me."

"If you enjoy dangerous games, I'll gladly oblige."

Seeing his determination to assault her, Evelyn gave a cold laugh.

It seemed this scoundrel needed a lesson he'd never forget.

She tossed her designer bag aside and flexed her wrists. The hem of her gown was already knotted neatly behind her, allowing full mobility.

The moment Oliver lunged, she drove her knee upward with brutal precision.

"Ahโ€”!" The man crumpled, his face contorted in agony as he gasped on the floor.

"Exciting enough?" Evelyn tilted her head, danger flashing in her eyes. "Shall we escalate?"

"You bitch!"

Oliver staggered up, his expensive suit now wrinkled beyond recognition. Spittle flew as he hurled obscenities.

Evelyn's gaze sharpened. Kicking off her heels, she advanced and delivered two stinging slaps across his face.

"Still coherent? I must've gone easy on you."

Snatching her bag from the floor, she rained blows upon him. Oliver scrambled like a cornered rat, his curses dissolving into pitiful whimpers.

The commotion drew a crowd outside Room 203. When Olivia Valdemar arrived with the Roland brothers, the hallway was packed.

"Move!" Olivia shoved through the onlookers.

The door swung open to reveal Oliver, battered and bleeding, crawling toward escapeโ€”only to be slammed against the wall by Julian Roland's expert restraint.

"Help! This woman's insane!"

All eyes turned to Evelyn, now smoothing her skirt with perfect composure as she slipped back into her heels. Not a hair was out of placeโ€”only the faint redness of her knuckles betrayed the violence.

"Evelyn!" Alexander Roland and Olivia rushed forward.

"I'm fine." She gave Olivia's hand a reassuring squeeze and winked at her brother.
