Chapter 100
Alexander Roland had planned to bring Evelyn to the exhibition today, hoping to broaden her horizons. To his disappointment, she flatly refused. He came alone, a tinge of loneliness lingering in his heart.
Fate always had a dramatic flair.
When he saw the familiar figure on stage introducing herself as Celadon, it felt like a bolt of lightning struck him. Shock gave way to an overwhelming surge of pride.
Though they hadnโt spent much time together as siblings, the bond of blood made him genuinely proud of her.
"Evelyn is Celadon..." he murmured, his lips curving into an unconscious smile.
Beside him, Isabella Langley dug her nails into her palms. She forced a smile. "Who knew Evelyn was so talented? Achieving such mastery at such a young age."
Her words sounded like praise, but the undercurrent of bitterness was unmistakable.
The humiliation from her earlier public embarrassment still burned, and now Evelyn had stolen the spotlight. She could barely suppress her fury.
"Yes, Evelyn is remarkable," Alexander replied absentmindedly, his gaze fixed on the stage.
Whispers of doubt spread through the crowd.
"Empty claims. How can you prove youโre Celadon?"
"Another impostor was just exposed. Are you a fraud too?"
"The title of Master Celadon isnโt something to be taken lightly!"
The audience buzzed with skepticism. After two "Celadons" in quick succession, no one knew what to believe.
Evelyn remained unshaken.
She turned toward the massive screen and raised a hand. The display lit up, unveiling a series of design sketches that unfurled like a scroll.
Each piece varied in styleโsome ethereal and delicate, others opulent and breathtakingโevery stroke radiating the touch of a master. What stunned the crowd most were the numerous never-before-seen private works among them.
The venue erupted.
"These... these are Celadonโs personal collection!" someone gasped.
"Any more doubts?" Evelynโs voice was cool.
From a corner came a resentful challenge: "What if you stole them?"
A flicker of mockery crossed her eyes.
She dialed a video call. Instantly, a lively face appeared on screen.
"Darling, you finally remembered me~" The girlโs playful voice echoed through the speakers.
The moment the audience recognized her, chaos broke out.
It was Falling Petalsโthe prodigious designer whose reputation rivaled Celadonโs!
"Tell them who I am," Evelyn said, angling the camera toward the crowd.
Falling Petals took in the scene and winked. "You sure you want to go public?" She knew her friendโs preference for privacy all too well.
