Chapter 150

Edward Roland's eyes reddened, his voice choked with emotion. "We haven't been able to eat properly these past days..."

His clenched fists trembled slightly, the usual authority of a business tycoon completely absent.

The Lowell family exchanged uneasy glances, stunned into silence by the scene before them.

Who would have thought the Rolands cherished their long-lost daughter so deeply?

Victoria Lowell dug her nails into her palms.

Why?

How could Evelyn Roland suddenly become the heiress of the Roland family? All her past gloating must have seemed like a pathetic joke in Evelyn's eyes.

She glared at Evelyn, her gaze burning with resentment and envy.

Vincent Lowell immediately put on an obsequious smile, bending forward obnoxiously.

"Mr. Roland, Mrs. Roland... I had no ideaโ€”"

"Get out of my sight!" Edward snapped, his voice sharp as a blade. "You dared to make my daughter design for you?"

His piercing glare could cut steel. "We spared you before only because Evelyn chose to hide her identity. But since you clearly lack gratitude..."

Evelyn pressed her lips together, remaining silent.

Even without the Rolands' intervention, she would have reclaimed what her grandfather left behind.

"Dad! Why are you begging herโ€”"

Slap!

Vincent backhanded his daughter across the face. "You insolent brat! Kneel and apologize!"

Victoria was forced to the ground.

"Evelyn, after all these yearsโ€”"

"Silence!" Edward roared. "How dare you speak of raising her?"

Sophia Roland, usually gentle, now wore an icy expression. "We know exactly how you treated her all these years."

"Every debt will be repaid tenfold."

Vincent dropped to his knees with a thud.

Against the Rolands, they had no right to resist.

"Evelyn, at least spare usโ€”"

"I'll let you go," Evelyn said calmly. "But I'm taking back everything that belonged to Grandpa."

"Over my dead body!" Victoria snarled, her eyes blazing. "You're trying to ruin us!"

Evelyn gestured indifferently toward the wall. "Feel free to end it now."

Her gaze was frigid. "Don't forgetโ€”Grandpa was the one who raised me. Not you."

In her heart, the Lowells had died the day her grandfather passed.

"Can't we just give halfโ€”"

"All of it."

Edward smirked coldly. "Do I need to demonstrate the Roland family's capabilities?"

"We'll give it! We'll give it!" Vincent's face turned ashen. At least they could keep their personal assets.

Sophia stated firmly, "The transfer will be completed within three days."

When she turned to her daughter, her expression instantly softened.

"Evelyn, is this arrangement acceptable?"
