Chapter 108

The classroom buzzed with chatter the moment the bell rang.

"That question was ridiculously tricky!"

"Is the professor deliberately targeting her?"

"Being handsome doesn't give him the right to bully people..."

Evelyn Roland remained unfazed, her fingers lightly tapping the desk.

"The key to perishable goods lies in their timeliness," she said coolly. "A regional distribution model would be optimal..."

The room gradually quieted. Some students began scribbling notes.

Sebastian Valdemar narrowed his eyes. Her business acumen was sharper than he'd anticipated.

The dismissal bell cut through his thoughts.

"That's all for today." He closed his lecture notes, his gaze lingering on her slender figure.

Evelyn packed her books with swift efficiency.

A faint smirk curved Sebastian's lips. CH Jewelry would soon become Valdemar Group's biggest threat.

A commotion erupted at the classroom door.

"Can I get your number? Your insights were amazing!"

A boy in a white hoodie pushed to the front, eyes bright. "Senior, I'm a sophomore in the business schoolโ€”"

Evelyn took a half-step back. "No."

The boy's smile froze, like a puppy caught in the rain.

"Just one contactโ€”"

Sebastian appeared at the perfect moment. "Miss Roland, come collect the reference materials from my office."

In the hallway, Evelyn exhaled in relief.

"Thank you, Professor."

He gave a slight nod, a glint of amusement flashing in his eyes as he turned away.

Sunlight filtered through the sycamore leaves, dappling the stone path. Evelyn walked slowly, stepping over the patches of light.

"Evelyn?"

A familiar voice made her head snap up.
