Chapter 484

Olivia Montgomery clenched her fists, biting back the words that threatened to spill about Evelyn Carter's pregnancy.

If Beatrice Harrington discovered Evelyn was carrying Nathaniel's child, it could shatter Olivia's carefully constructed future with the Whitmore dynasty.

Beatrice trembled with barely contained fury. "Evelyn, your true nature finally reveals itself. Let me be perfectly clear - with your common upbringing, you'll never be worthy of my Nathaniel."

"Precisely! The divide between your worlds is insurmountable!" Penelope Whitmore added venomously.

Olivia rose to Evelyn's defense with a derisive laugh. "You can't even produce a VIP card, yet you dare pretend to be elite? Your arrogance is astounding! Evelyn wouldn't give your family a second thought!"

Beatrice lifted her chin haughtily. "How amusing. My son happens to be CEO of Whitmore Enterprises!"

"Is that supposed to impress anyone? You can't even secure basic membership privileges!" Olivia turned to the boutique manager. "According to store policy, VIP members can request removal of disruptive guests, correct?"

The manager nodded. "That is correct, Ms. Montgomery."

"Excellent. Then please escort these two unpleasant women out immediately. Their presence is ruining my shopping experience."

Beatrice's face flushed crimson. "How dare you! My son owns half this mall! No one in Crestwood City treats me this way!"

Olivia's smile turned icy. "Then today will be your first lesson in humility. No card means no privileges. Time to leave."

The manager wrung her hands nervously. "Mrs. Whitmore, you know our policies. As a VIP member, Ms. Montgomery has every right..."

Humiliation burned through Beatrice as she glared at Evelyn. "Pathetic, using wealthy connections to elevate yourself."

Olivia stepped between them. "Are you blind? Evelyn is my sister!"

Penelope's mouth fell open. "Impossible! Evelyn's an orphan - everyone knows this!"

"Our family nanny's negligence caused Evelyn's disappearance years ago," Olivia explained coldly. "She endured your petty snobbery alone all this time. Frankly, I'm astonished at your audacity!"

Slamming her black titanium membership card on the counter, Olivia declared, "Let this be your warning. Evelyn is a Montgomery. Harass her again, and we'll bury you."

Beatrice stood frozen, struggling to process that the "orphan" she'd scorned was actually Montgomery royalty.

When security approached, Beatrice hissed, "This insignificant boutique means nothing! My son owns this entire complex!" She stormed out, pride in tatters.

Penelope followed, mind racing. "Could Evelyn's family truly be that powerful? Why haven't we heard of them before?"

Beatrice scoffed. "New money, undoubtedly. Probably mining or oil fortunes. But no upstart fortune compares to the Sinclair dynasty in Northridge!"

Indeed, the Whitmores of Crestwood and Sinclairs of Northridge dominated high society.

Penelope nodded eagerly. "When Nathaniel marries Victoria Sinclair, our family will be untouchable."

"Enough chatter," Beatrice snapped, pulling out her phone. "I'm calling Nathaniel immediately to have those women banned permanently."
