Chapter 480

Alexander maintained his composure as he studied Victoria's face. "Where is this so-called 'heiress' you claim to have found?"

"She's at my place. I can take you there immediately," Victoria answered with forced enthusiasm.

Yet beneath her eager tone, a flicker of unease crossed her features as she guided Alexander and the others through the airport terminal.

Soon, their group split up, each heading toward separate waiting vehicles.

Olivia shot Alexander a concerned glance. "I don't trust Victoria's intentions," she murmured.

"Whatever game she's playing, we'll discover the truth soon enough," Alexander stated firmly.

"It's unfortunate Evelyn lost most of her childhood memories. Otherwise she might recall how Victoria interfered with our search for her," Olivia added.

Alexander's jaw tightened. Bringing Victoria back from the orphanage remained his greatest regret.

Within minutes, they arrived at Victoria's luxurious penthouse.

Gregory rushed forward in panic. "Ms. Sinclair, Danielle has disappeared!"

Victoria's face drained of color. "What do you mean? Turn this place upside down!"

"We've searched everywhere. She's gone."

Victoria checked her phone and found a WhatsApp message from Danielle: "Ms. Sinclair, if you want my cooperation, fix my university expulsion first. I can't afford this stain on my record."

With trembling fingers, Victoria dialed Danielle's number repeatedly, but only got endless ringing.

As Alexander's group exited their vehicle, his voice cut through the tension. "Where is she?"

Victoria forced a smile. "Alexander, Danielle just needs time to process everything. I'll find her soon," she lied smoothly.

Alexander's patience snapped.

He tossed a document at Victoria. "This terminates our arrangement. Whether you sign or not, your citizenship transfers to Bern City effective immediately."

Victoria gasped, scrambling after him. "Alexander! Just because you found your real sister, you're throwing me away? I helped find her!"

Olivia blocked Victoria's path. "We'll handle the search from here," she stated with finality.

Watching Alexander's car disappear, Victoria turned to Gregory. "We must find Danielle first, or they'll learn everything about Evelyn!"

Victoria couldn't allow Evelyn to reclaim her rightful place in the Montgomery family.

That evening, Evelyn returned home to find all six brothers crowded in her modest living room.

The small space felt even more cramped with their imposing presence.

Evelyn blinked in surprise. "Your flight wasn't until tomorrow?"

Alexander smiled warmly. "Finished my work early. Wanted to surprise you."

Their original plan had been to confront Victoria that afternoon, but discovering her imposter missing made further pretense pointless.

Olivia took Evelyn's hand gently. "We heard about your graduation banquet. The whole family will be there to celebrate."

Daniel rested his chin on his hand with a playful grin. "Why didn't you tell us about this important event sooner?"

Evelyn's voice softened with emotion. "I thought you were all busy, and the flight from Nord City is so long..."

Still, what daughter wouldn't want her family present for such a milestone?

It reminded her of childhood dreams of parents attending school events.

Olivia squeezed Evelyn's hand. "This time, we're personally escorting you back to Nord City. We have a special gift planned for the banquet."

At the event, they would reveal Evelyn's true identity as the long-lost Montgomery heiress!
