Chapter 7
Mia Lowell had an abusive, alcoholic father.
A mother addicted to mahjong and gambling.
And a good-for-nothing delinquent older brother.
Her family life had always been miserable.
So miserable that I couldn't bear to watch.
I shared half my allowance with her.
Gave her the new clothes I bought.
Let her use my meal card freely.
I sheltered her unconditionally whenever she got hurt.
Was it all just one-sided giving from me?
Did I raise a ungrateful snake?
The female classmate saw me frozen in place.
She looked at me with concern.
"I'm really sorry," she said.
"We were young back then."
"Mia said something, and we believed her."
"We never confronted you directly."
"We wronged you."
"Later, I met your junior high classmate."
"That's when I found out you're a good person."
"You've always been kind to everyone."
"Mia lied to us."
"I'm sorry we didn't believe you then."
"I'm sorry we didn't speak up for you."
Tears welled up in my eyes.
What use was this belated apology?
Those days were gone forever.
All that was left now was an eye for an eye.
A tooth for a tooth.
Coincidentally, Mia texted me.
"Big brother, I'm all cleaned up."
"I'm dressed exactly how you like tonight."
"Hurry up and come to the room."
I smirked coldly and replied.
"Sweetheart, I have a surprise for you too."
I quickly made a phone call.
I gave some brief instructions.
I took a deep breath and settled in to watch the show.
Soon, screams and angry shouts echoed from the lobby.
An excited male classmate yelled to the group.
"Whoa, everyone, come quick!"
"There's a show outside!"
"A wife caught her husband's mistress at the hotel!"
"I took a quick peek at the door."
"The mistress has her hair all disheveled."
"The wife is on top of her, hitting her."
"She's wearing lingerie."
"Not a single one of the three points is covered!"
Who could resist that?
Everyone rushed out of the hall and ran toward the scene.
"You wretched woman!"
"How dare you seduce my man!"
"He's over fifty years old!"
"Who knows if he can even get it up!"
"He's bald and covered in fat!"
"How could you even bring yourself to kiss him?"
"What a sin!"
"Are you that desperate for a man?"
"That thirsty?"
"You'll jump on any man you see?"
"How much did he pay you?"
"A few hundred? A few thousand?"
"You dress like this cheap slut?"
"Spreading your legs wide open for him!"
"Why are you covering your face?"
"Let everyone see you, you shameless whore!"
The older woman was incredibly strong.
She grabbed Mia's hair and forced her head up for everyone to see.
The moment Mia looked up, she saw me.
She saw the stunned expressions of all our old classmates.
She instantly broke down.
"Ahhh! No! It's not me! I didn't do it!"
"Don't look at me! Please, don't look at me!"
The older woman slapped her hard across both cheeks.
"Who else could it be if not you?"
"Dressed like that, in a hotel."
"If you're not here to please a man, are you just here to be a slut and put on a performance art show?"
The classmates were just as shocked.
They came for an ordinary reunion.
They never expected to see their former classmate in such a state.
Everyone started talking at once.
"Isn't that Mia Lowell?"
"Why is she dressed like that?"
"Did she switch careers and become a working girl?"
"What do you mean?"
"Didn't you hear? She's a mistress caught in the act."
"Oh my, you really can't judge a book by its cover."
"Who would have thought that famous pure white flower would fall this far."
"Even an old man is good enough for her now."
"The world is going downhill."
"People's hearts aren't what they used to be."
Mia desperately tried to cover herself with her hands.
One moment she covered the top.
The next moment she covered the bottom.
In a panic, she screamed at me.
"Olivia Sullivan, are you just going to stand there?"
"Hurry up and take your clothes off for me to wear!"
